Checking drawing and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials for use in the construction, and agreeing prices for items.
Planning the work and efficiency organizing site facilities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines.
Liaising with any consultants and / or sub – contractors engaged in the project.
Attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress.
Supervising and monitoring the site labour force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors.
Overseeing quality control and safety measures on the site, and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise
Monitoring of the development of the construction work
BOQ- Prepare bill of quantity
Project work chart prepare
Designing structures using CAD and other software
Undertaking feasibility studies for new projects
Working with a team to develop a project plan and critical path analysis
Directing maintenance, Risk assessment and analyzing environmental impacts
Bid preparation for large tenders
Project Management and overseeing the project build

Conducting studies and modifying structures
Supervising and counselling junior or trainee engineers
